I had a structured virtual interview, then they invited me for a virtual presentation and campus visit. They told me they liked me and wanted me to visit. After the visit, I didn't hear back and sent follow-up emails with no response. I received an automated rejection after about 8 months.

Saw the job for Coordinator of Career Services on the university's joblink. Got an email saying my application was accepted. The hiring committee chair called me within 3 days of the job closing to set up a phone interview. Four different people asked me one question each during this 15-minute phone chat. The chair called me back within 2 days to arrange an on-campus interview. This interview had all four committee members asking two questions each, and then I had an exit interview with the executive director. Got the offer within 2 days.
