I had an in-person panel interview with the High School Leadership team, which included the Principal, Dean of Student Affairs/Campus Ministry Director, Athletic Director, Director of Enrollment, and the Business Office Manager. After that, I got a phone call from the principal, and then I had another in-person meeting with a CCVI Sister for the final approval.

I applied online via the University Career website and heard back for an interview about one to two weeks later. The first interview was virtual and I met with the Dean, Associate Dean, and Administrative Assistant. They called me with an offer about a week after that.

It was a two-round interview process. The first round was a 30-minute Zoom call with the assistant dean, where we talked about my skills and I gave a quick overview of the school. The second round had two parts. The first part involved meeting with two administrators who asked me about data analytics. I didn't get a chance to ask them questions. The second part was with the Dean, who really dug into the school's programs, how it's structured, and what they need for this role. This part focused on my managerial skills and data analytics.

Had one interview that wrapped up in about a week. It was a panel interview where each person asked questions in turn. They said advancement was possible when I asked about it, but later I learned that wasn't true. If you get interviewed, make sure to ask direct questions about the job and what it entails. Understand exactly what you're signing up for. Also, inquire about the work-life balance and how often you'll need to work beyond regular hours. I got the impression two of the panel members weren't thrilled to be there.

  • What opportunities for career growth are available?
  • Could you elaborate on the specific duties and expectations of this role?
