Student Ambassador
it was a focus group where we answered questions based on a bunch of scenarios. it was actually quite fun and i think most people got through. it was in a big room as well and they had 2 existing student ambassadors come along
- If you could invite one person to dinner as a group, who would it be?
Student Ambassador
First, you'll do a presentation to a small group of about 5 other applicants and 2 interviewers where you explain your degree like you're talking to a year 10 student. After that, there's a group presentation where you get 20 minutes to plan your part and then present it to everyone.
- Could you introduce yourself to a Year 10 audience in 3 minutes, covering your name, degree, what you enjoy most about it, and your 'light bulb' moment for choosing to study at The University of Sydney?
Student Ambassador
I found out about the job through an event at uni that I had to apply for first. They then told the people who went to the program about the job. If I was interested, I had to send in my CV and cover letter, and then if I passed that, I had an in-person interview.
- What is your understanding of the student ambassador role?
- How do you plan to manage your responsibilities as a student ambassador alongside your studies?
