Behavioral

The interview process was quite straightforward and mostly involved behavioral questions. They wanted to understand your background, how you'd fit into the project, and what contributions you could make. It's pretty conversational and can vary depending on the professor's style.

Behavioral Presentation

It took about a month of talking with HR to set up the interview panel. The selection criteria changed on the day I got the interview invitation. The interview panel didn't seem interested in my research, wouldn't answer my questions (which were pretty standard), and it felt like they'd already picked someone before the interview even started. It seemed like a formality and they weren't really looking for anyone. I found out online that the Department had been in some recent trouble that was in the news. HR sent me a rejection within 4-5 days, with no feedback. I accepted another research position at a different university a few days later.
