We had a 45-minute interview where we were asked to talk about our skills and past experience. Before that, there was a short test where we had to suggest improvements for a poster they showed us.

The interview focused more on soft skills and general suitability rather than my specific qualifications. I didn't feel I got a chance to showcase my abilities, and it seemed like they weren't really interested in me from the start. One interviewer was quite abrupt and aggressive. By the end, I knew I wouldn't get an offer, suspecting they might have an internal candidate already in mind. If that's how the line manager acts, I wouldn't want to work there. For context, Nottingham Trent pays about 4K more for similar admin roles.
