Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at University of Missouri.
Graduate Assistant
It was a good interview experience. They asked thoughtful questions and I participated in a hands-on activity that showed my skills. Did a great job explaining the responsibilities of the role.
- Can you describe your experience with writing?
Graduate Assistant
The interview process was pretty straightforward, though it can differ a bit based on the department. Mostly, it was standard behavioral questions, but some departments threw in their own unique ones. The onboarding was also quite simple. The trickiest part was just trying to get a response from NES. Apart from that, the interview itself went well.
- Can you share an instance where you disagreed with a decision or situation and describe how you managed it?
Graduate Assistant
Depending on the role, you might need to send in your CV or resume along with a cover letter. Then, there are in-person interviews.
