It was a panel interview. It felt friendly and relaxed, but the questions they asked were very direct. I thought they did a good job of getting to know me, and they also told me about the role and the team that's already there. Overall, it was a nice experience.

The interview usually happens in a campus computer lab. First, you'll introduce yourself. Then, there's a typing test where you need at least 40 WPM for the IT Technical Assistant role. After that, you'll use eCourseware to write a short essay on troubleshooting and take a quiz on computer terms and customer service, needing at least an 80%. Once done with eCourseware, they might either let you go and decide later, especially if it's a busy time, or they'll have you wait. If you wait, two supervisors might take 2-3 people at a time for a quick Q&A with maybe one question, and they might announce hires right after. Questions can vary; they might ask troubleshooting if you mention tech skills or inquire about odd things in your work history.
