The interview process was pretty straightforward. For the initial role, they wanted to gauge my Excel skills, which I felt confident discussing. However, due to some issues with a previous hire, the subsequent interview for a replacement position was more rigorous to ensure a candidate's actual Excel proficiency.

The interview process was pretty laid back, and there were a few interviews. We also had dinner. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. I interviewed with the chair and some other faculty.
