The interview experience was nice; the interviewers were friendly and wanted to help. Be honest: it doesn't matter whether you have research experience for the intern position. interview will be virtual and on conference call with multiple members from the program.

The interview was scheduled, then rescheduled twice. Finally, when it did happen, the hiring manager was a no-show, and a substitute showed up with a list of questions. It was a total waste of time and disrespectful because the substitute couldn't answer any questions. After that, I was ghosted, which seems to be how hiring usually goes at UofL.

I had an interview with two people, the manager and the CNO. It lasted about 30-45 minutes. They asked me a lot about my past experiences and some behavioral questions like my strengths and weaknesses, how I've handled conflict, and how I'd deal with certain situations.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was long and I wasn't sure who the hiring manager was. First, there was a round table interview with a lot of situational questions asked quickly, only lasting 20 minutes. I didn't have much time to get settled or ask anything. Then, I had a 2-hour on-campus interview with 7 people, mostly situational questions. The communication felt very formal, which I thought was odd. I was told I didn't get the offer because I lacked prior higher education experience.
