I sent in my application and the very next day I got a call and an email. They told me the job had been open for a while but my resume caught their eye, so they wanted me to do an interview project. They gave me only 24 hours for it, which was a tight turnaround since they were already far into the hiring process. I spent a few hours on the project and submitted it before the deadline. But then... nothing. No confirmation they got it, no rejection, just silence. I've since gotten and accepted another job. I emailed the person I was communicating with at the University of Indianapolis to let them know I was withdrawing my application. Still, no reply. It's frustrating when you put in the effort for a project with a tight deadline and don't even get a response.

The university process was great and everyone was really nice. They were super flexible in finding a date that worked for the interview. The schedule for the day was clear and I was guided the whole way through. The campus is beautiful, and Indy is a really charming place with friendly people; I would love to work there.
