I got this job through a staffing agency that handled the whole hiring process. It was a two-step interview process: first, a phone screen, and then a more in-depth online interview via video call. In both interviews, they really focused on checking my Salesforce skills. They asked me a bunch of technical questions about how Salesforce works, like its customization, reporting, and automation features, and about my actual experience using it to manage customer info, sales funnels, and get insights from data.

The interview process for the Ridgetown campus specifically involved a presentation that needed significant preparation. Following that, there was a 1.5-hour interview with an additional test. About two weeks later, I was asked back for another hour to meet with the Director again. It's now been 4 weeks since then, and despite sending follow-up emails, I've been ghosted. It felt unprofessional and unfair.

The interview was pretty straightforward. They asked about my background and the projects I've done. Since the job is bilingual, they also assessed my French language abilities. I didn't have direct website design experience, and they were looking for more general, transferable skills.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I spoke with about 3-4 people on the team, and they were all pretty nice. University interviews in general are kinda tough because it feels like there's a set 'score sheet' and you need to say the 'right' things to get hired, rather than it being based on actual experience or merit. There were a few questions, mostly situational like 'tell me about a time you were in a team and struggled with a decision.' Some of the questions were pretty long, like a paragraph with a few smaller questions inside - don't hesitate to ask them to repeat it or to break down the questions one by one. At the end, there was a writing task where I had to write a news story/post based on some info they gave me.
