We had a group interview with about 10 students per room. First, we each had 60 seconds to introduce ourselves. Then, there was one general question that we all got, which we were given beforehand. After that, each person was asked a different, unknown question. The interview panel consisted of one current ambassador and two related staff members.

- You have 60 seconds at the beginning to introduce yourself, including your name, what you study, an interesting fact, and a brief story about a personal university experience suitable for 17-18 year old school pupils (e.g., about a society, accommodation, welcome week, your course, student life, or a favourite campus spot). Please stick to the time limit. We recommend preparing and practicing this part beforehand.

So after submitting the online application, I got an email inviting me to an interview. When we got there, we were split into groups and sent to different rooms. Then we had to talk about three topics related to student life. Three people from the student recruitment team were watching us. Some of the interviewers were current senior student ambassadors and some were from the student recruitment team. The questions were pretty general, and it was important to share your thoughts, but also to be cool with what others thought and not take over the chat.

It was a simple online questionnaire asking how you'd act in certain situations and how you'd talk about the university to people. Then, there was a group interview with questions about situations that came up right then, and before that, you had to give a one-minute presentation about your best moment at the university.
