Because it's a communications job, they wanted to know about my writing and research skills, social media stuff, how I get along with different people like professors, students, and admin, if I can work alone or with others, how I handle deadlines and juggle projects, and how I put together content for different kinds of writing.

So, the interview process is a mix of online meetings and a 3-day campus visit. During the campus visit, you'll be meeting with faculty and some administrators. You'll also be giving a talk. Each meeting is typically about 30 minutes long, and the talk itself is usually an hour.

She asked some basic things like what my major was, what year I was in, and so on. She also asked about my future goals and why I was interested in joining her research team.
