It was a multi-step process. First, there was a short table session where I talked with an advisor about the types of events I'd organize. Then, there was a round table discussion where staff members took notes while we talked about open-ended questions and shared ideas.

I got an interview invite a week after the competition finished, and the interview itself was a week after that. A week later, I got an offer. We negotiated salary, but the hiring manager wasn't willing to budge much, only about $2.5k, so don't expect a lot of wiggle room there. They also asked me to relocate from out of province and start two weeks after accepting, but they didn't cover relocation costs. I ended up starting the job six weeks after the competition wrapped up.
