Director
It was a typical streamlined process. There were multiple levels to go through, including faculty, staff, and upper admin. It started with a Zoom call, then moved to an in-person meeting. Each level lasted about 60 minutes. It was helpful to learn about the programs and structure before the interview.

Project/Program Manager
I went into a room with the Supervisor of the Systems/Network group and they asked me questions about my skills. It was a 30-minute interview. They wanted to know if I had experience setting up servers, installing operating systems like Windows and RHEL Enterprise Linux, setting up RAID, and installing virus protection. I also needed to know about specifying server/computer purchases for departments on campus and doing the required paperwork. Unlocking or setting up user accounts was also part of it. Knowing PERL language would be helpful.

- Have you set up servers before?
- What types of servers did you set up?
Research Assistant
During my interview for the Graduate Research Assistant position, they asked me about my research abilities, what I'm interested in academically, and my background in analyzing data and doing literature reviews. They also wanted to know if my interests matched what the department is trying to achieve and if I could handle projects well.
