So, for my specific department, there were 2 in-person interviews. Both interviews had a bunch of people from the team I'd be working with. The second interview also included the head of communications for the department. The first interview was mostly behavioral stuff, just getting to know me. For the second interview, they gave me a small assignment to do beforehand and submit. Then, during the interview, we talked all about that assignment so they could see my work.

My resume was passed along to another department that required assistance with additional desk and clerical tasks. Two individuals from that department conducted a very informal interview to learn more about me, rather than just reviewing my resume.

I applied online and it took a bit to get processed. The interview was in two parts and I did it at the hiring manager's office. For the application, I had to submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample. It seems like the University of Arizona has a requirement to pledge alliance when employed.
