I signed up on their site and sent in my application. Got an automatic reply saying they got it. It took them a few weeks to get back to me about an interview. It was a panel interview where they had specific questions they had to stick to and couldn't go off-script.

The interview process was comprehensive, and the interviewers made me feel comfortable right away. They asked me about my experiences working in a library and how this job could benefit my future. It was interesting because, despite it being a basic student position, they seemed to be looking for candidates who were genuinely interested in the role, which contrasts with many other student jobs on campus that seem to accept anyone or just need a warm body.

I first had to submit a documented example of experience processing similar activities to what the position required. Then I came in and sat with three people who asked 10-12 pre-planned questions. After that interview, I sat in the lobby for a few minutes before my second interview with the registrar.
