Researcher
It was quite difficult, they were checking for more relevant subject aspect knowledge and also research aspirations. There were a lot of questions in ASIC design flow, circuit design techniques, and also RFIC system integration tools. They asked about analog and mixed-signal design techniques, Python programming, circuit design techniques, and low power reduction techniques at the circuit level. Basically, they wanted to know about everything in your resume.
- Can you elaborate on your in-depth knowledge of the various CAD tools used?
- Were there specific questions posed regarding C programming?
- Did the interview include questions about other tools like Python?
Postdoctoral Researcher
The interview took about 30 minutes. It was mostly about how I could help with the group's projects and what skills I have that fit the job. The questions part was about 15 minutes and had a lot of different types of questions.
