First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UniversalGiving.
Marketing
I applied online and got a response in under a day to set up a phone interview. I chatted with a recruiter for about 20 minutes and they said someone would reach out if I was selected. It took me over two weeks to hear back from the Operations & Recruiting Manager to set up another phone interview, which was also about 15-20 minutes. About a week after that, I got an email saying I got the job. The interview process was really simple and not at all stressful. Everyone I spoke with was very pleasant!

Developer
The whole process had 2 stages. First, it was more of an introductory interview. Second, it was more in-depth. The questions asked were pretty straightforward and easy to answer. Basic preparation for the interview is enough. I heard right away whether I got the job, which was nice.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Why do you want this job?
- What motivates you to want to work at UniversalGiving?
Intern
I had an in-person interview at their office with the operations coordinator, who was really nice. It was a good experience overall. They asked basic questions like "what is your greatest strength/weakness?" "Why do you want to intern with us?" and "Why are you interested in nonprofit work?" The person was friendly and followed up promptly. It was in a coworking space.
- Could you share some details about your background?
Administrative Assistant
So far, so good. The questions were clear, and everyone I interacted with was very accommodating and helpful. Communication with all the staff was easy. The CEO seemed very accommodating. It's a nice place to interact with in a really great city.
- In what ways can your previous experiences bring value to the organization?
