First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Universal Atlantic Systems.
Customer Service Coordinator
We'll start with a phone call, then you'll have an IQ test, after that you'll meet the department heads and director. If you get hired, the CEO will take you out for lunch with the other new hires.
- What qualifies you for this role?
Dispatcher
I applied for the Dispatcher role, and HR director Michelle reached out. After a few days of communication, she scheduled an interview. I met with Michelle and then individually with three other directors from different departments. Talking to the department heads was great; they were friendly, outgoing, and professional, making me feel welcome and explaining what the company offers. There was a basic cognitive skills test with math and reasoning questions. Some reasoning questions were a bit odd, but the test was generally easy, with a 12-minute time limit. Following this, I had to fill out a background information form for a check. A drug test is part of the offer process, but I haven't taken it yet.
- What was the hardest part of the interview?
IT Help Desk
The interview process was quick and easy. They ask questions but it feels like they want you to succeed, not fail. Everyone is very friendly and they integrate you into the company culture right away. You get to meet everyone, from the CEO to the warehouse staff. It feels more like a family than a company where you're just a number. I'd suggest this company for a long-term career.
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Customer Service Coordinator
I first talked to someone from HR and they told me about the company, like the benefits and stuff, and what the company does for the community. Then I met the Service manager and they told me more about the job they were hiring for. They gave me a tour of the office and we talked about what the job is like day-to-day and other things about the company.
