First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Unity Care.
Case Manager
It was a pretty simple interview process. I had two rounds with the same hiring managers. They asked about my motivation to join and wanted me to talk about my past experiences.
- What interests you about working here?
- Tell me about your past experiences that relate to this role.
Therapist
Unity reached out to me about a Therapist position. We did an online interview, which went really well and they seemed to like my resume and experience. They said a second interview would happen once I got Skype working. They were understanding about my issues with it and we spoke on the phone. I let HR know when the Skype issue was fixed and gave them my availability for two weeks. I followed up after 5 days because I hadn't heard back. HR then told me a panel interview was being set up for multiple openings. When I asked if it was for the role I initially interviewed for, they said it had already been filled internally.
- Regarding relocation and exploring options in the area, how soon could you get there?
- Are you doing your homework?
Education Coordinator
First had a phone interview with the HR recruiter. Then had a second interview with the program manager and the Recruiter. However they NEVER got back to me whether I got the job or not. Even with reaching out two times, just crickets.
- Can you explain how your skills align with the requirements of this role?
Residential Counselor
It was a pretty simple interview process with basic questions about situations and judgment calls. They just wanted to confirm I could handle the day-to-day tasks of a residential counselor.
- What would be your immediate action if a client expressed intent to self-harm?
