Behavioral Presentation

It was a 3-phase interview process. First, an HR interview. Then, a situational/behavioral interview with the SVP and current manager, which was about 1.5 hours. The final interview involved presenting a 30/60/90 day plan, followed by more questions from the SVP, VP, and current manager. The SVP and manager seemed to like me and thought I had the skills, but then they ghosted me for 4 weeks after saying they'd follow up. I sent thank you and follow-up emails over 2 weeks with no response, and reaching out to HR for an update also got no response. It felt unprofessional to go through all that effort and be left hanging. The questions felt repetitive, like my presentation on setting up 1x1s for relationship building, and the SVP commented on needing to set up 1x1s after I presented it. The manager and SVP also missed part of the final interview for a football game. I usually don't post reviews, but since Glassdoor requires it, I wanted to share this experience. My previous role was also a Manager in finance, so I've been on the other side many times. The conversations didn't feel genuine or humane, and the comments felt disrespectful. They used AI for interviews, but it felt like they didn't review the AI output well, as I had to repeat things like my knowledge of Reg E compliance. I'd question if this is the kind of company people want to work for, especially considering how I treat my own team members. This was the worst interview experience compared to others I've had recently.

The first interview was over the phone with the recruiter. They knew a lot about the job and what they were looking for. The questions felt super generic, like they came straight from ChatGPT, and some didn't even make sense. Mostly cultural questions, and the technical ones didn't let me show what I can do. They didn't ask anything about my resume or portfolio. The interviewer was nice and on time. The whole process, from applying to getting rejected, was quick.

Behavioral

I recently went through the hiring and onboarding process with Unitus Community Credit Union for a Sr. Member Solutions Specialist role at their Tigard, Oregon business center, and it was a really good experience. They kept me in the loop at every stage, making me feel valued and informed. The recruiter and hiring managers were super helpful and supportive, which made the interviews much smoother and more welcoming. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out and made a great impression. I'd definitely recommend Unitus Community Credit Union if you're looking for a positive and easy hiring process.

Behavioral Presentation

I was contacted by a recruiter after applying. First, there was a 1.5-hour phone screen. Then, I had a virtual interview with the hiring manager and another credit union officer. The final round was a virtual panel interview with 5 VPs, managers, and training staff. For this last interview, I had to prepare and present a 30-60-90 day plan. The interview was mostly standard questions from the panel, followed by my presentation. They had no questions about my plan. I didn't hear back for a week, so I messaged the recruiter, then emailed the manager a week after that. Still no follow-up after 3 rounds. Lots of applicants, but after all that time, even an automated rejection would be professional. Disappointing, especially since I'm a member.
