The interview was very professional and gave me a lot of insight into how engineering was structured and the main challenges the organization was facing. The management team was very open about the key challenges and concerns within the org and was transparent throughout the interview. I got really good info about where the org is headed and the overall vision for engineering and the company. I also got a good overview of the support, marketing, and sales orgs, and again, the info was very open and honest. I had a couple of questions for HR as part of the process, and those were answered quickly and with the right info.

I had an initial phone interview with some really basic questions. The person I spoke with was super friendly and made it easy to chat. After that, she asked me to come in for an in-person interview later that week. Once I got to the office, I met with four people from the marketing team. All those chats were pretty relaxed, mostly talking about my past work, my time in school, and why I was keen on joining Unitrends. I had one more phone call after the in-person interviews because the person I was supposed to meet with wasn't there that day. I got the offer about a week after that.

I got a call directly from Unitrends and the HR Manager was the first person I spoke with. We talked about the job, and then they set up a call with the Hiring Manager. A few days later, I had a good conversation with the Hiring Manager. After that, I was brought in for an interview where I met with 3 separate groups of 2 people each. These people were from different departments within the company. I haven't received an offer yet, but I'm curious to see what happens next.

I went through 2 phone interviews, one with someone in the US, and then an on-site interview in the UK with a manager and a peer. I was successful in the first two interviews, which led to the on-site. Even though I felt the on-site interviews went well, I never got any feedback from the recruitment team. I tried reaching out, but they didn't respond. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because their recruitment process showed their true colors.
