I applied through the ASUCD vacancy website. A few weeks later, I had an interview on the UCD campus at the Unitrans business office. There were two career staff members and the HR manager there. The questions were pretty simple and the interview vibe was pretty chill, it only lasted about 15 minutes. You don't need to dress up fancy for this. Training started super soon after I got the offer.

I put in my application online via the ASUCD website. After they narrowed down the people who applied, they called in 21 people for interviews. It was a panel interview setup with one question from each of the four interviewers. The questions were pretty standard, like asking me to describe myself, why I wanted the job, and to talk about a stressful situation I'd experienced. They posted the results within two days.

The process was straightforward. I applied online, and they reached out within a week to set up an in-person interview. The interview itself was basic and short, about 15 minutes. A few hours after the interview, they called to let me know I got the job.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was supposed to be formal, but the interviewers showed up late, casually, with coffee. It's a panel interview, so be ready for that. It was tough to impress everyone on the panel. They care about your knowledge of protocol, and connections are a big plus.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Tell me about a time you faced an abstract or unusual situation where there wasn't a clear correct response.
  • What would you do if presented with a situational question that seemed to have hidden complexities or a non-obvious solution?
