The interview experience was great, the interviewers were warm and really wanted to get to know me better. It was a bit disappointing that there was a lack of communication about not making it to the next stage, especially since the interview process itself was good. It also felt a bit insider-driven, suggesting that knowing more about the organization might be beneficial.

The interview process involved a panel of educators and leadership who asked insightful questions focused on students. They were upfront about the program's current limitations to a small music curriculum but were open to expanding arts programming in any direction, offering full creative license. However, it seemed like leadership lacked a clear vision for the potential of arts programming.

The interview process felt very automated. I met with two senior staff members who asked me questions and took notes for an hour. They seemed unfamiliar with my cover letter, and some questions weren't aligned with the job description. They emphasized the demanding workload and expectation of overtime. I inquired about feedback but was told it would be available next month, so I didn't pursue it further. While the organization's work is interesting, I'm actually glad I wasn't selected.

I interviewed for the Senior Officer role at UWC International Office in London. It was okay, but the organization was unprofessional about informing me of the outcome. After my second interview, it took over a month to hear back, with repeated postponements. For the last two weeks, they didn't communicate at all. When I followed up again, they said the two staff members thought the other had already reached out. They didn't even call to explain. I got an email from HR apologizing for the delay and saying I wasn't selected. While I know staff can be busy, that's no excuse for being discourteous. I'm appalled by the lack of consideration but actually glad I won't be joining such a disorganized team.
