I talked with a few Congressional leaders for this internship. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview, and most interviewers were really nice. I made sure to do my homework on each person beforehand. They mostly asked about me, but I tried to bring up legislation and committees when I could to show I'd done my research.

I found the job online and then they reached out to me for a phone interview. The whole process was pretty simple and straightforward. The phone interview took about 20 minutes and I got to ask the staffer some questions too. They offered me the job and I took it.
