First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at United Staffing Solutions.
Treasury Analyst
It was a 5 step process. Mostly behavioral questions were asked with a few technical questions sprinkled throughout the interview. Nothing too complex or overwhelming. Just getting to know you, your resume, and overall goals.
- Can you describe a method for evaluating a growing market to determine if it's advisable to enter?
Recruiter Assistant
I had a phone interview and then a 1:1 interview. I had to fill out an application and then the HR Director interviewed me. She mostly just reviewed my resume and asked about my start date. It seemed like I had the job, but after I followed up twice over a few weeks, they didn't offer it to me.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- When are you available to start?
Financial Analyst
I saw this job posting on Craigslist and was promptly contacted for an interview appointment. After filling out the standard application and waiting for about 30 minutes, I had a 30-minute interview with a senior recruiter. They gave me a detailed introduction to the potential position with the client. I was told the client had tried to hire someone themselves twice before without success and this was their first time using UnitedStaffing to find the right candidate. My recruiter complimented my resume and advised me to be very confident when speaking with the client about securing a permanent position. I was told to prepare for further interviews, but they never occurred. It's still a tough job market with the current economy, but I'll continue working with UnitedStaffing hoping for an offer soon.
- The salary range for this position is between XXK and XXK, does that work for you?
- Would you be okay with working overtime hours?
Dishwasher/Busboy
The interview for this job was pretty short and sweet. I discussed my previous experience in the role with the interviewer and confirmed my ability to clean the food preparation machines used for events.
- How long did you work in that position?
- Do you feel you possess the necessary skills for this job?
- Are you available to work on weekends?
