Behavioral

The interview process involved three rounds of interviews all on the same day. I received a job offer the very next day and my employment began two weeks later. Overall, the process was very smooth. The onboarding was also quite good. I don't think the company is still in business though.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was very detailed, following big company guidelines, especially since the job required a confidential security clearance. It felt like a typical Boeing or Lockheed Martin interview. The process also included a background check, a drug test, and checking references.

I first got a call from the manager, lasting about 25 mins, mostly about if I'd fit in with the team and what the job would entail. Then, two weeks later, I was flown out for a 1:1 with the manager and section lead, where we mostly went over the same stuff about the job and my personality fit. They weren't expecting anyone to know the Space Shuttle, so it was more about personality and work ethic than specific engineering skills. A week after that, HR called with an offer, pending a background check which took about 3 weeks. I started Feb 14th, after interviewing around the second week of November.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved a formal attire requirement and one formal interview session. However, the Engineering Manager was approachable, making it easy to shift into a more relaxed conversation. The discussion covered my engineering expertise and general preferences. The manager seemed interested in my broader life outlook, not solely focused on assessing my technical knowledge for the role within the Navigation Department of the Flight Design and Dynamics Division of Mission Operations Directorate for Shuttle Operations.
