First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at United Learning.
Human Resources Administrator
It was a really exciting interview process! It involved a series of interviews, and after that, there was a test to see how well you could do the actual work. To finish the day, we got a tour of the place to get a feel for the work environment and the company culture.
- How do you manage your workload and decide what to do first?
- Can you describe the most difficult task or duty you've encountered?
Marketing Associate
I applied and was then invited to a quick, informal chat with the marketing manager. It went well and lasted about 20 minutes. After that, I was invited to a second interview. This one was 2 hours long and included a written task, a debate, and the final interview. Overall, it was fine and everyone was nice, but they never told me the outcome, which shows how unprofessional they are. Don't bother applying if you don't want to waste your time for nothing.
- What makes you the most suitable candidate for this position?
Teacher
The interview had pretty standard questions about whether you're a good fit for the job, why you want to work there, and your future career goals. They gave you plenty of time and space to talk about your experience and strengths, and also to reflect on times you learned something new in your career.
- Why are you a good fit for this position?
- What are your career goals for the next 5 years?
Recreation Assistant
I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager and their manager. They asked the typical questions, plus some about safeguarding. They also presented me with a few hypothetical situations about the work environment.
- What would you do if a child asked you to keep a secret?
