It was a quick 30 minute interview. The nurse only asked a couple of questions about why I want to work there and scenario based questions on how to deal with aggressive patients.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Applied on 9/24 and got a response the next day to set up a recruiter screening call. Had a good phone screen on 10/2. I didn't hear back, so I followed up on 10/10 and was told the hiring manager was away. On 10/11, I was asked to schedule a Teams interview for 10/22 with the director and manager, which went well. They asked for writing samples, so I sent my portfolio right after. The HR recruiter called on 10/28 to schedule an in-person interview for 11/7. On 11/7, I met the director and manager again. They liked my portfolio and asked if I had any questions. Then the VP joined and gave me an assignment on a post-it note. I asked for clarification, which she provided. The assignment took about 5-6 hours, including research. The VP then asked some vague questions, seeming unimpressed and possibly biased due to age, and hadn't reviewed my materials. She offered a team meet-and-greet, which never happened. After submitting the assignment, I received an acknowledgement but then heard nothing for a week. I emailed yesterday and today received an automated rejection. The process felt unorganized, the assignment was demanding, and some of the VP's interactions were inappropriate.

The interview process was smooth. I had two interviews, one with a manager and another with a peer. I felt like I learned a lot, and the interviewers were genuinely interested in what I had to say and my background. Overall, it was a positive and pleasant experience. The questions were relevant, and I felt comfortable interacting with the team.

I had a phone interview because I lived out of the area, then an in-person interview with the hiring manager. From the time I applied to when I got the offer, the whole process took over two months. The interview was pretty standard, mostly asking about my experience. It seemed like the whole process took longer than it needed to.
