I got a call from HR about 4 weeks after applying online and they asked me to come in for an interview. Three clinicians were there and it was a conversational and friendly chat. It went for about 40 minutes and seemed to be mostly about personality fit.

I had a chat with a current clinician for about 20 minutes. It was pretty relaxed. She told me about the job and duties, and we talked about my resume. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. It seemed like they were checking if I'd fit in with the agency.

Behavioral Case Other

Friendly staff greeted me and made me comfortable while I waited, which wasn't long even though I arrived a bit early. I was interviewed by an administrator and a supervisor, and I felt at ease with both. It was more of a casual chat to get to know me and my skills, not an interrogation. They asked a lot about my past experiences and what I learned at previous jobs and internships. They presented several scenarios and asked how I would manage them. They also asked typical behavioral questions, like about handling disagreements with coworkers. I had plenty of time to ask my own questions, too. The interview lasted over an hour and a half. Afterward, I was given a case study assignment to complete within 24 hours, which tested my writing, analysis, and problem-solving skills for a given situation. I had a good impression of the program and the interviewers and hope for a callback.
