First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at United BioSource.
Director
The interview process spanned 8 weeks and included 6 interviews. I had the opportunity to meet with the senior leadership team and the CEO, which was a very good experience. All interviews exceeded 30 minutes, which I interpreted positively. It's a demanding role for those who aren't proactive and dedicated. I'm really enjoying my current position and the projects I've been assigned.

IT Business Analyst
The hiring process was frustrating and unprofessional. After initial outreach from HR, I experienced repeated delays, last minute cancellations, and long periods of silence despite multiple follow-ups. I was ghosted more than once, even after a promising phone screening. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of respect for candidates’ time and interest. This kind of disorganized communication reflects poorly on the company and raises concerns about how they value talent.

Clinical Project Manager
I had a 1st interview with a Talent Acquisition Leader. It was the worst interview I ever had. I had no introduction (on the recruiter or the company), they directly asked me why I left my former employee. Then, they asked specific questions which I didn't had the answer. He replied to me "You applied for us and you don't know that?". I'm very angry right now, how can you talk to a potential candidate this way... Also, I never had the answers as they didn't take the time to explain anything. WORST experience in HR ever !
- Why did you leave your former employer?
Software Engineer
The interviewer was late and didn't introduce themselves or chat beforehand. It felt like an interrogation with direct questions. They interrupted me a lot while I was answering. They hinted that management is bad and that software engineers have to do extra work after hours. This sounds like a red flag for junior engineers being overworked. The interviewer clearly didn't read my resume because they asked about languages, frameworks, and libraries that were listed on it. They rushed me at the end because we were running out of time.
