I have an upcoming interview on February 19th via Microsoft Teams. I need to prepare well for this role as a marker, which I believe will be a great learning experience and a step towards becoming a moderator. To qualify as a marker, one needs at least 5 years of teaching experience. I have taught Maths and Science for 8 years, including at Rosebank College where I marked scripts and POEs using their RC Learn system. My current job also utilizes a similar system, Learn 24, giving me familiarity with online learning platforms. I applied for this marking position because I want to leverage my existing skills and learn new things, particularly within a large institution like Unisa with its unique systems, which will benefit me as a lecturer.
