UBI put out an ad in 2010 for forex officers. I had four years of experience in derivatives trading back then. They picked about 1400 people out of all applicants for 50 spots. My interview was really short, only 12 minutes. They asked me about my trading style, why I wanted to work for UBI, and my take on the financial markets at that time. They also asked about how I'd handle living in a city like Mumbai, mentioning the high cost of housing and the traffic. They posted the results within two months, and because of my previous experience, I was assigned to the treasury branch.
