- Why did you decide to apply to our company?
Accountant
First, there was a call to get the interview scheduled. Then, I had a phone interview with the supervisor. After that, I went in for an in-person interview with the supervisor. Next, I had another in-person interview, this time with the CEO. Finally, they let me know their decision via email and a call.
- Why are you looking to make a job change?
Software Engineer
This was for a mid-level Software Engineer role. First, there was a written test with basic Java and a logic question. Then, a 130-minute online Java test with 3 problems: one algorithm problem ignoring time complexity, another algorithm problem where time complexity mattered, and a debugging question. After that, an on-site technical interview with three senior engineers. They asked tricky basic Java questions, language nuances, and required a code review and some coding. Finally, another on-site interview with team members and managers for cultural fit.
- How precise are Long objects in Java when doing basic arithmetic?
- What are the concepts of polymorphism?
- What are the concepts of object comparison?
Business Advisor
I applied on LinkedIn and the Director of Admin reached out pretty quickly, within a few days, to set up a phone chat and send over some personality assessments. They're really into data, which was clear from the start of their interview process. I then had a chat with senior management, and a few days later, they had me talk with the team I'd be working with. Before making an offer, I met with the CEO. The whole thing was super fast but felt really thorough and everyone was friendly.
- Can you tell us more about your background?
- Could you elaborate on your personality assessment results?
- Questions based on your personality assessment.
