Software Development Engineer
The interview process started with a first round that lasted about 1 hour 30 minutes, including MCQs and one coding question. The second round was a technical interview covering coding, OOPS, DBMS, and DS, where the interviewer was friendly and I managed to answer most of the questions, focusing on testing concepts. After a two-day wait, we got shortlisted, but it felt like the manager wasn't very keen on hiring. The third round was a Managerial round, about an hour long, where the manager asked behavioral questions and probed deeply into past projects. It seemed like none of the students were satisfactory, and ultimately, no one was selected.
- basic Dbms questions
- printing patterns (code)
- DS questions
Software Developer
The interview process started with an initial HR screening call that lasted about 20 minutes. Following that, there was a face-to-face meeting which included HR and two senior developers. This session involved a 15-minute live coding challenge, which I found to be not too difficult. The next round was with the product manager and another senior developer. While the product manager was friendly, they weren't very technical. After this, HR requested references, and they actually contacted them. I was expecting an offer at this point, but instead, after a week, HR asked me to come in for another conversation, which was the fourth round. I initially thought this would be a casual chat to meet team members and understand the company culture, but it turned out to be another intensive technical interview lasting an hour. Unfortunately, I was later informed that my application was unsuccessful. It's interesting to note that another candidate received an offer in March 2018 and didn't have this fourth interview.
