The process has 4 steps: a group interview, an individual interview, a manager interview, and the hiring process. They are slow to give feedback, but they always do, whether it's negative or positive. In the group session, there are basic questions about everyone, followed by a dynamic activity, an essay, and a math test. The individual interview is to ask why they should hire me and what I could add, plus a brief summary about myself. With the manager, it's to describe the service performed and ask how I would handle different situations. For the hiring process, you have to get a letter of recommendation from your last 3 employers, whether the company still exists or not.

I'm really unhappy with how unprofessional the HR and finance departments were. I went through 3 stages: an interview with HR, then an interview with the manager and coordinator, and after that, I was given a 1.5-hour case study to complete. I'm currently employed, but I made time to do it. I submitted the case study and never heard back from anyone, not even the manager I emailed it to, or HR. I even followed up asking for a positive or negative response and was completely ignored. Being transparent is what makes a company ethical and people-focused, and even without joining, I know União Química isn't like that.

Even though we all applied for a biotech specialist position, we were eventually called for an interview for the production technician role. They made us wait outside the site, in the cold and wind, early in the morning, and they were also over 30 minutes late for the interview. The HR manager explained how it would go and made it clear that we all had at least a master's degree and assured us that the work would not be just 'manual labor' and that we would be very intellectually demanded on a daily basis (meaning, an analyst role within a technician position and salary). In the first part, they put us all together in a room and asked us to write an essay on a free topic. Then, we went one by one for a conversation with an HR employee, and the interview lasted less than 10 minutes for each. She asked us to introduce ourselves, but after 1-2 minutes of speaking, she interrupted to move on to a few questions. We were asked if we knew the company and where we lived.
