Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UNFI.
Business Analyst
I submitted an online application. The entire process lasted about a week. Initially, there was a phone screen where we discussed my resume, classes I took in college, and I got a brief overview of the company and the role. Unfortunately, I didn't pass this stage, as I received another email from the recruiter saying they were proceeding with other candidates.
- Tell me about college classes relevant to this role.
- What was your GPA?
- Walk me through your previous work experience.
Business Analyst
I applied online and heard back the next day about a phone screen. After passing that, I got an email from a different recruiter for an in-person interview. They sent over some behavioral questions and a more detailed job description. The in-person interview was with a manager and director, and they were polite and on time. It was mostly behavioral questions. They mentioned the position was on hold and gave me a potential decision date. I followed up with a voicemail two weeks later, and got a rejection email the day after that.
- Basic behavioral questions were asked throughout the interview process.
Systems Analyst
I applied online and had a phone interview first. Then, I had a second interview, which was in person. I met with two really nice people for that interview, and it went on for a little over an hour.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Could you walk us through your previous work experience?
