Inside Sales
The hiring process lasted about two weeks and included 7 interviews which were quick and smooth. The position and salary were clearly explained and seemed very good. I met all my supervisors, up to the CEO.
- Tell me about your previous sales experience.
Applications Scientist
The interview process was good and the people seemed genuine and honest. There were quite a few interviews, so I got to speak with many different people. I even had the chance to talk to the CEO, which was great. Mostly video calls.
- How would you explain your role to a fellow academic scientist?
Project Engineer
Had an initial zoom chat, which was pretty much a Q&A session where we went over my background. They asked a bunch of questions about my past work with automation and in biotech. They also wanted to know about the size of the companies I've worked at before and my reasons for wanting to move on.
- What motivated you to apply for this role at our company?
- Could you share details about your prior experience in automation?
- Can you elaborate on your previous work within the biotechnology sector?
Senior Mechanical Engineer
I had an initial phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person interview with 5 team members. I had to take a day off work for it. The people who interviewed me seemed pretty nice and were mostly polite. They said they'd get back to me soon, but it's been over a month and I haven't heard anything. It would have been good to at least get an email saying I wasn't moving forward. Feels like I wasted my time and a vacation day.
- Can you discuss your project experience?
- What technical challenges have you faced?
