First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ultramain Systems.
Software Engineer
The interview process involved an initial aptitude, verbal, and technical MCQ round (Java focused). This was followed by a technical coding round featuring easy to medium LeetCode problems. Then, there was a group discussion, and finally, a VP round. All rounds were generally considered average in difficulty. Understanding Java basics or just the logic of any syntax is sufficient to pass the MCQ section.
- What projects have you worked on?
Junior Java Developer
The interview had two rounds. The first was a coding round with problems like reversing strings, date manipulations, and sorting. The second round focused on technical aspects, including OOPS concepts, sorting arrays, string and collection-related issues, and database queries like the 'IN' clause.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Software Tester
First I had to do a test, and if I did well enough on that, then I had the interview right after. The interview itself was pretty basic, not many deep questions about software or if I liked testing or had done it before.
- Given a screenshot, what did you find wrong with it, from spelling to font size, etc.?
Publications Analyst
The process started with a video interview where I was asked standard questions and given a couple of chances to record my answers. After that, I had to come into the office for a timed skills test, followed by a structured interview with a group of people from the hiring team.
- Can you tell me about your most significant non-fiction writing project? What was your organizational approach, and how did you handle any obstacles you encountered?
