First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ultra Group.
Program Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process, really. Nothing tricky. They asked some 'tell me about a time...' type questions and other scenario-based stuff. It was pretty laid back and conversational, more of a discussion. It was a panel interview, and they made sure there was no pressure. They also talked about my resume and gave me a tour of the plant, which was super informative and helpful.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a difficulty and how you resolved it?
- Tell me about a situation where you had to juggle several projects at once.
- Could you walk me through a program you successfully managed from its beginning to its end?
Program Manager
After an initial outreach from the hiring team, I had a Microsoft Teams interview with my direct supervisor and potential colleagues. Following that, I was invited for an in-person interview which included a tour of the facility. This in-person meeting involved representatives from multiple departments and HR. About two weeks after the interview, I received a job offer.
- What makes you want to leave your present job?
Program Manager
It was a really great experience. It took about 7 weeks from applying to getting the offer. There were two phone interviews and two onsite panels. The hiring team and manager kept in touch. It was cool that when I called recruiting, they answered and helped me right away. Really liked the team and excited to join Ultra.
- Can you describe how you achieve your goals in a matrixed organizational structure?
