First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ULTATEL.
Software Engineer
The interview process begins with an online exam that includes an IQ and personality test. After that, there's a phone call, followed by a technical interview. Then, a coding task is given, which is then followed by a second technical interview or code review. You have to pass each step to proceed to the next and eventually get an offer.
- Are you adaptable to using new technologies even if you haven't used them before?
Junior Full Stack Developer
It started with an online cognitive assessment. After that, an HR phone call led to an on-site interview with the team lead. I got shortlisted after that and then had a second interview with the head of development. After the second interview, I didn't get a response.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell us about projects you worked on, any challenges encountered, and your solutions.
- Which technologies have you used?
Marketing Director
I had two rounds of interviews with the CEO. The first round involved a discussion, and for the second round, I was asked to complete a competitive analysis which was then reviewed during a 3-hour meeting. There was also an online evaluation that I didn't complete. I got a verbal offer from the CEO and was told a written one would be sent on Monday. I didn't hear back until Wednesday, a week later, when I received an email from the CEO saying they'd gone with another candidate. I think they chose someone more junior to save money on salary, which was a good way to see the company culture before joining. While this might be common, it's still really unprofessional.
- What suggestions do you have for enhancing our landing page?
.NET Developer
The interview experience was good, and the interviewer was great. The only issue was that I thought I was interviewing for a .NET Developer role, but it turned out to be for an Angular Developer position, which wasn't what I wanted. Despite that, the company and the people there are good.
- Were you asked about Angular concepts?
- Did the interview cover various Angular-related topics?
