Senior Manager, Compensation
I had a recruiter call, then a 1:1 with my potential manager, and finally a panel interview with some HR Business Partners. The interviews went well, but I was bummed to get an auto-reject email after a few weeks of talking to the recruiter, it felt impersonal.

I had a good experience interviewing, the responses were fast and everything went smoothly. There were five rounds in total, with the recruiter, hiring manager, and directors from other teams I'd work with. The whole thing took about two weeks.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your skills, both technical and non-technical?
- What value can you contribute to our team?

I had a call with HR where I answered questions about my resume, then we discussed benefits and they scheduled me for an interview with the hiring manager later that week. The interview discussion was good, but the hiring manager didn't have video on. When I asked why, they said they were having camera issues. I thought, 'This is IT, shouldn't you be able to fix that or at least mention it upfront?' I emailed HR and the hiring manager the next day to thank them. I didn't hear anything by the end of the next week as promised, so I followed up on Monday. HR said I was one of the final candidates and they'd have a decision by the end of that week. Okay, so they needed another week, which is fine. Still no word! I emailed again on Friday afternoon and then again the following Monday. Nothing. It's been two weeks since that last follow-up. Typical corporate America, not caring about people. I ended up getting a job elsewhere for more money anyway.
- Can you go over your resume with me?
- Tell me about the IT department and company structure.
FP&A Analyst
The interview process was super straightforward. I first spoke with HR, then the Finance Director, and finally another person from the finance team. Everyone was really friendly and the interviews were all conversational and behavioral. They seemed more interested in finding a good fit for the company and the role rather than trying to trick me. I would have loved to work there, but the position was a bit too junior for my experience level.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you describe your previous work experience?
- What makes you want to work for this particular company?
