Admissions Professional
So I had a group interview with about 20 people. They basically told me that the job is actually a sales position, which was not mentioned at all in the job description. This job requires you to do the entire admissions process for the school. You will be calling leads, around 200 a day, conducting an interview for your candidates, and completing the enrollment process for them as well. You're required to enroll 8 people a month, and you do not get any commission at all. It felt like a scam or like a bait and switch.

Career Services Specialist
I went in for an interview. There were two women at the front desk. One of them told me she wasn't the person I was supposed to meet with. My original contact had a personal emergency and couldn't make the interview. Instead, I met with another woman who said she would send my interview notes to the original contact. This was two weeks ago. I followed up for an update, but haven't heard back.
- Can you tell me about your previous jobs and experience?
Instructor
It was a two step interview process. First, I met with the Lead Instructor, a director, and one other person. They asked me about my experience and why I wanted to be an instructor. They also told me about the program's structure. The second step was a "Teach-back." The task was to present on a subject I know well, as if I were lecturing a class to other instructors about career information.
- What motivates you to pursue an instructor role?
- Tell me something that brings you joy.
- Could you describe your professional journey?
Admissions
It was a two-part interview process. They created a really friendly and inviting atmosphere. I spoke with the department head and the campus president. Several people greeted and welcomed me. There was no pressure, and I never felt uneasy. After the first interview, I was really excited about the possibility of working there. I was then called in for a follow-up interview where I learned a lot about the school and its mission, and at that point, I knew I didn't need to look for any other jobs.
