The recruiter contacted me directly. After I sent my resume and had an initial call, they said they'd arrange a meeting with the hiring manager. However, they were unreachable for months. When they eventually responded, citing personal reasons for the delay, they didn't follow through on their promise to update me about the role or refer me, despite multiple follow-up attempts. While I understand personal issues happen, their unreliability and failure to keep their word were unprofessional.
