I applied online and got a call back for some basic questions about my education and work experience. Then I had a 1:1 interview with the office manager and a hiring supervisor from HR. We talked about my strengths, weaknesses, why I want to work at UCLA Health, and some work ethics scenarios. The interviewers were nice, but the focus on work experience felt too much for an entry-level role. You should be happy and smiley, and if your experience matches what they're looking for, you'll get a call back. Just be aware they're not great at responding to emails or calls, so you'll need to follow up persistently.

The interview had a phone screening first, and then an in-person interview if you passed that. The phone interview was a bit tricky 'cause they called a few days before to set a specific time for you to call in, and they're really strict about calling right on time, otherwise you might miss your chance to interview. The in-person interview was really nice though, the manager was super friendly and I got hired right away.

I applied online for an administrative assistant position within the Cardiothoracic unit at UCLA Health. A few days later, I got a call for a phone screening interview that lasted about 15 minutes. The hiring manager sent an email for the in-person interview right after. During the interview, I was asked a few questions about job-related skills, my motivation for the role, my ability to multitask, and some hypothetical scenarios.
