I applied for the Flash Data Assistant role. I got a call and went in for an interview. Once I arrived, they started asking me questions for a Bilingual Customer Service Rep position. This confused me because I had applied for the Data Assistant role, not the CSR role. The interviewer checked with the hiring manager and returned to inform me that they were already interviewing other people for the Data Assistant position. I explained that I hadn't applied for the Bilingual CSR role. I suspect they thought because I'm bilingual in Spanish and English, they could consider me for the Bilingual CSR role.

I was contacted about a Salesforce (SFDC) lead role, and even though I only had 1 year of SFDC experience but many years with similar tech, I was told it wasn't an issue. I would be the only SFDC dev. I had a phone interview where I reiterated my SFDC experience level. Then I had a face-to-face interview where I discussed my experience again. The person interviewing me, who I think was a VP, mentioned they were interested in sending me to SFDC training, which I said I was keen on. But, five hours after the interview, they told the recruiter they weren't interested due to my lack of experience. It felt like they didn't listen at all. Looking at other reviews, I dodged a bullet career-wise. This interview still stands out as the worst.

I applied for a job on LinkedIn and got an interview. Before I even talked to anyone, I had to do a one-hour questionnaire. It had three parts: stats questions, true/false, and ranking scenarios by what I'd most likely do. It felt like school, honestly. After that, I had a quick 15-minute chat with the recruiter. She couldn't tell me anything about the job or what the day-to-day was like, saying I'd have to wait for the hiring manager. I thought the chat went okay, though. Then I waited. I followed up for weeks and got no reply. I even tried connecting on LinkedIn, but got totally ghosted. After over three weeks of silence, and after spending an hour on the assessment, I got a generic rejection email with no explanation. They never accepted my connection request either. It was a really bad experience.

Confirmed questions3 questions

My interview happened online with the camera on. I met with a group of hiring personnel from different departments all at once. While I was discussing my strengths, they actually hired me into a department different from the one I originally applied for. This ended up being a really good fit and I'm very happy with the job.
