I applied and then the hiring manager emailed me to set up a phone screening. We talked on the phone and then they asked if I could come in for an in-person interview at their office, which I said yes to. After the in-person interview, they offered me the job the next day.

The interview was pretty relaxed. It included typical questions about my work history and relevant experience, along with some hypothetical scenarios. After that, we took a tour of the facility and met some of the staff. Everyone I met was really nice and made the company seem like a great place to work. The interviewer also mentioned that even though we're in a college town, people should see this as a long-term career with chances to advance, and that it's not just some temporary gig. I ended up taking the job. A few years down the line, though, upper management basically said the opposite, claiming that because it's a college town, employees are cheap and easy to find. It's an okay job if you're a college student, but be prepared to feel burned out and unappreciated after the first year.

Behavioral Presentation

It took over 3 weeks for the whole process. I had a phone interview that was followed by an in-person interview and a tour of the facility. It was a pretty standard interview process overall. They asked a lot of situational questions to see how I'd handle employee issues. The Operations Manager and Coordinator were smart and friendly, and they really wanted to see what I could bring to the company. It seems like a great company that's growing a lot and needs someone to bring more structure to their processes. I got an offer, and I think it's a good place for new managers who want to make an impact.

So after they looked at my resume, I went and met someone at the main office. The interview was really short, like 20 minutes, and they just offered me the job right then. They did ask me to come back another day to check out the warehouse and I might have spent a few hours training that day.
