First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at U.S.VETS.
Operations Manager
So there were a few rounds with really long breaks in between, and no one told me what was going on during those waits, so I didn't know if they were still considering me. After I sent in the written assignment, I didn't get any confirmation it arrived. After all that, the offer call was a total surprise.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Outreach Coordinator
Had a Zoom interview with lots of questions. It was very professional and they really asked some good questions. I'm excited about this opportunity; USVets is an excellent company and I'm excited to help them end veteran homelessness.
- Can you describe your experience with outreach?
Program Manager
The interview process was pretty standard for a professional company. I was asked questions related to my management and leadership approach, handling supervisory situations, and general situational questions. It seemed like they were trying to understand my personality and how I deal with various scenarios.
- Can you share an instance where you had to work with a challenging coworker and how you managed that collaboration?
Operations
Waited 45 minutes on Zoom for an interview with the CEO. He seemed irritated and was condescending, spending most of the time talking about himself. I wouldn't want to work for a company that makes you wait that long and then just leaves you in the meeting room until they're ready. I get that things happen, but a quick heads-up would be easy.
- Can you give examples of Axis 1 diagnoses?
- Tell me about your fundraising experience.
