First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at U.S. Dermatology Partners.
Medical Assistant
It was a good interview, the interviewer was nice and respectful. They asked some pretty standard questions like 'Tell me about yourself', 'How do you handle criticism?', and 'Do you prefer to work in teams or independently?'.
- What would people say about you?
Business Operations Manager
I had a phone interview first. Then about 4 weeks later, I had an in-person interview. Three weeks after that, there was another in-person interview or meet the doctors. Two weeks after that, I got an email saying they went with someone else. Everyone in the office and the Regional Manager were very nice. The recruiter was nice too, but really slow to respond. They also had me do another ZOOM interview with someone from the Ft. Worth area. I never got any feedback on that one, even though I was having bad allergies and didn't interview well. I would have liked some feedback.
- Could you describe your management style?
- How do you handle challenging situations?
Human Resources
I applied for the HR role online through LinkedIn and heard back from USDP the same evening. The next morning, I arranged a phone screen with an HR Generalist, which happened the following day. Later that day, I was invited for an in-person interview at the corporate office. On the interview day, the receptionist announced my arrival, and I met with the VP of HR, the HR manager, and the HR Generalist for a 50-minute interview. The whole experience felt relaxed and organized, and I received a job offer the next day.
- What would make you a better candidate than others for this position?
Medical Assistant
First, you'll talk to the HR recruiter on the phone. If that goes well, the HR will pass your info to the hiring manager. Then, the hiring manager will decide if they want to interview you in person or over Zoom. You'll hear back about the decision in about a week after the interview.
- In three years, where do you envision your career path leading?
- Can you describe an instance where you had to manage a challenging patient interaction?
